YNGOs Coalition for Child Rights Care organizes the consultative meeting of local leaders and decision-makers in Beit Al-Faqih district –Hodaida .
Under the auspices of Major General\ Hassan Ahmed Al-Haij, Governor of the Governorate, Chairman of the Local Council ,a consultative meeting implemented by the YNGOs Coalition was held on Thursday 8th of Feb \2018 in Al-Ebda’a Center Hodaida city ,for leaders and decision makers to mobilize and support 37 male and female from local authority leaders, community leaders and influential supported by UNICEF. The workshop was attended by Mr. HussienSahl Zain \ Director General of Bait AL-Faqeeh district ,and the trainers Mr .Borkan Al-Aghbary and Mr . Ghaleb Al-Nehary and Mr.Abdullah Ali Naji \Members of the Executive Committee in the coalition, Mr.Nabil AL-Jodairi \Event Coordinator and Mr. Khaled Omar\ Members of the Executive Committee in the Coalition and the workshop moderator .
The opening of the consultative meeting was presented by Mr. Hussein Sahl, who emphasized the importance of the role of Local Council ,influential and the community leaders in Bait AL-Faqihdistrict, also heemphasized the importance of getting ready in all activities for the success of the coalition programs in the district and providing support to the field teams and volunteers. He thanked the coalition for its progress in the first phase and he called for more support and programs that serve the districtdue to the hard situations there in light of aggression.
In the meeting, Mr. Khaled Omar reviewed the achievements and evaluation of the first phase through the report of the coalition and pointed to the second phase through which many activities will be implemented for the care and protection ofYemeni children .
Mr. Nabil AL-Jodairi also reviewed the detailed program for the next phase, explaining what will be implemented in various axes, most of which are related to the awareness of life-saving practices and behaviors and the protection and care of Yemeni children, which begins in Hodeidah with this consultative meeting and with training courses for volunteers in both Bajil and Bait AL-Faqihdistrict .
Mr. Mohammed AbdoKayal also participated with a work paper highlighting the importance of raising awareness of influential and decision-makers on messages and life-saving behaviors. During the meeting, discussions were held to serve the child.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdo Salah Al-Harazi, the General Coordinator of the Coalition ,and Ms. Aisha Hashabra, coordinator of the Coalition in Hodaida Governorate.
From UNICEF Ms. Farah Fowz –Communication for Development officer and Mr.Abdullah Al-Khamesy- Child Protection officer attended in the meeting.
